The Artist
Chihiro Pierce’s passion for art began at an early age in the quaint city of Kobe, Japan. Classically trained in the fine arts from the Joshibi high school of Art and Design, her attraction to a more realistic style began during her fine arts study at Musashino Art University in Japan. During her time as a perspective creator at an architectural company post-graduation, she further developed her skill in creating accurate and realistic depth in her works. Through these experiences, she went on to pursue her passion for watercolor painting. Her works were selected into several national and international shows across the globe, most notably, her works were featured and she was interviewed for the cover story in the French magazine, Pratique des Arts. Along with her ethereal floral works, her still life artwork was selected as the subject for interview for the International Artist Magazine selected as a top 10 finalist.
